· Design Electrical plans under Engineer guidance,
including cable and raceway schedules, cable routing, determining power
supply.
· Apply NEC (National Electric Code) to design.
· Yellow-line with Engineer to make sure that design
is correct across several prints.

guidance, to issue jobs out for bid.
· On-site contractor liaison as necessary, to
oversee job construction, issue hot work permits, make sure workers have
all necessary badges and are performing and meeting safety standards.

Structural jobs from redlines in Microstation.
· Worked on various special jobs that require point
cloud manipulation with Descartes, and 3D Plant Space design, was
responsible for getting Plant Space database set up per plant specs.
· Proficient with Bentley Descartes Hybrid
Manipulation.
· Proficient in 3D Microstation V8i SS3 design and
rendering.
· Involved with NERC/CIP security update design,
such as power plant control room isolation.
· Work with Maximo to input cable and raceway data,
and to submit for purchase requests for the estimated cost of work to be
approved to issue a job for bid.
· Responsible for training new hires and keeping
Generation Engineering’s design standards manuals are updated as needed.
· Responsible for maintaining cell/block libraries,
and customizing plot drivers as necessary.
· Responsible for testing new design software for
the group and evaluating new products for the group such as new plotters or
scanners.
· Create and implement design and drafting standards
for the Generation Engineering design team.
· Continuing education to attain Mechanical
Engineering Degree.
· Responsible for keeping up to date on safety training
and CPR certification.
· Helped design and implement new company wide cable
code to be used in Maximo.
